Mission Statement Our goal is to create a multifaceted food waste management system that will reduce monetary costs, air emissions and fossil fuel use while replenishing soil, providing education, inspiring worldwide replication, and invigorating life.
Vision The project has grown from a focus on a prototyping a back-of-house compost system for The Hive, to encompass the enlivening of SCAD and Savannah communities and beyond. We envision a vibrant food and flower garden where visitors stop, walk, shop, and learn. We plan for a sustainable, multi-pronged composting and anaerobic digestion system that follows the earth’s model of turning waste into food, generating energy, and creating more abundance.
