Hi I’m Sarah. It’s nice to meet you.

I am a researcher, educator and social designer who enjoys the creation of design that brings people together. My approach to design facilitates conversations between all stakeholders that can lead to the discovery of effective responsible solutions and raise the resilience of systems. I am passionate about design thinking, systems thinking, fashion, textiles and art. Currently, I cam conducting research on the history of sustainability in fashion and ecological mom guilt.

I have a background in Fashion Design and have worked in Fabric Research and Development. Working in the fashion industry, I found myself questioning the impact of the design decisions I was making. I became interested in both the environmental and social justice issues designers face. I decided to pivot my career path to educate myself to make better design decisions and seek a formal education in sustainability and design management.
